WELCOME TO THE US GREEN BUILDING COUNCIL COMMUNITY!

The U.S. Green Building Council is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community of leaders working to make green buildings available to everyone within a generation.

The organization heirarch is from USGBC National to the West Region, to the Arizona Chapter to a growing list of Arizona Branches.

What do Chapters Do?

Individuals who want to become involved with green building on a local level can join their USGBC local chapter. Chapters are the local voice of USGBC, and chapter members are key to raising awareness about green building. Chapter membership also provides excellent networking opportunities, the chance to serve on committees, and chapter member-rate discounts on chapter events.

All USGBC chapters are separate 501(c)3 non-profit organizations. Like many chapters, the Arizona Chapter holds monthly meetings and/or events for their members, in addition to holding LEED workshops. The Arizona Chapter is currently made up of 4 Branch Governing Councils which cover 4 geographic regions of the State of Arizona - Northern, Central, Southern and Yavapai. The Arizona Chapter Board of Directors oversee all 4 Branch Governing Councils.
