The Arizona host committee will assist USGBC in selecting one or more Greenbuild Legacy Projects to exemplify their gratitude to Phoenix for hosting Greenbuild. The Legacy Project subcommittee will develop an implementation plan with actions and guidelines designed to meet objectives and will document their efforts to help guide GB10 planning efforts.

Objective per MOU:
 • Solicit candidates, select finalists and present for approval to USGBC and Greenbuild Steering Committee

Objective per Host Committee:
 • Assist PR/Media subcommittee with Legacy Project story and media coverage

Legacy Project Guidelines:
• It must be a permanent gift or ongoing service to the host city
• It should serve low income and/or inner city groups
• It should be of an appropriate size • It should have an educational aspect
• It should be Greenbuild-complimentary
• It should be community supported
• It cannot be perceived as self-serving
