The Arizona host committee will recruit and coordinate Greenbuild 09 (GB09) student volunteers from regional Universities, colleges and other partners and provide GB09 T-shirts for all volunteers. The Volunteers subcommittee will field inquiries from interested, non-student persons and help place them with appropriate host subcommittees. The subcommittee will develop an implementation plan with actions and timelines designed to meet objectives and will document their efforts to guide GB10 planning.

Objective per MOU:
• Assist USGBC in their efforts to recruit, place and train student volunteers
• Develop a database of persons with communications access to target college students and communicate volunteer needs and registration information
• Provide USGBC with information on discount hotels for students
• Staff the Greenbuild volunteer office

Objectives per Host Committee:
• Determine USGBC and chapter subcommittee volunteer needs
• Recruit and coordinate volunteers to meet USGBC and chapter volunteer needs
• Provide the PR/Media committee with the GB09 volunteer story
• Document efforts and create a report for the GB09 host committee manual comprising the committee’s plan, its best practices, and lessons learned

09/15 Deliver to USGBC a schedule of 2 people at all times for the GB09 volunteer office
