The host committee will help promote green building and Greenbuild in Arizona and assist USGBC in their efforts to promote Greenbuild 2009 in Arizona and throughout the West region. The PR and Media subcommittee will develop an implementation plan with actions and timelines designed to meet objectives and will document their efforts to guide GB10 planning efforts.
Objective per MOU:
• Serve as a resource to USGBC’s Marketing Department for regional news interviews and PR events
• Assist USGBC in creating local media coverage for Greenbuild
• At Greenbuild assist USGBC with press management
Objectives per Host Committee:
• Increase awareness of green building and Greenbuild through press releases, social networking sites, articles and Viewpoint coverage
• Assist USGBC in developing a VIP list for cultivation event
• Create an Arizona-focused Greenbuild fact sheet
• In partnership with the Fundraising subcommittee, manage the design and operations of the Green AZ directory
• In partnership with WRC chapters, develop a West regional media contact list

04/29/09 Begin "My Turn" articles in Arizona Republic
11/30/09 Deliver to host executive committee final subcommittee report
