Celebrate USGBC Arizona Chapter's Amazing 2009!
Recuperate from and reminisce about Greenbuild 2009. Learn about the State of the Chapter and Southern Branch. Vote on minor changes to the Chapter and Branches' Bylaws. Welcome the incoming executive leadership of the Chapter and all four Branches. Enjoy an evening of revelry indoors or under the night sky!
The 2009 Annual Chapter Meeting, hosted by the Southern Branch, will be held at
Mercado San Agustín , a LEED Core & Shell-registered project just west of downtown Tucson in the historic Menlo Park neighborhood.
Enjoy complementary light fare from a quartet of local merchants, all of whom will be Mercado tenants when construction is completed in 2010. Hors d'oeuvres by
Corner Market, tastes of Mexico City by
Taqueria El Pueblito, authentic paella from
Casa Marita Restaurante Argentino, and
La Estrella Bakery's scrumptious desserts. Each reservation also includes two complementary drinks from the cash bar.
Corona de Tuna is providing musical entertainment for the evening and they, too, have a LEED connection: the musician's all have day jobs with the Corona de Tucson Fire Department, which celebrated the opening of their LEED-NC v2.2 Gold-certified
[PDF, 32KB] Fire Station No. 2 earlier this year.

Footwear Warning! Portions of Mercado San Agustín are still under construction, including the room in which this event will be primarily located. The floor is currently graded soil with gravel. Please wear appropriate footwear.
